More with the packaging ribbon- this time pressed into an 8 mm sterling silver band.

Starting the ring a day project on Flickr! I’m still recovering from the holiday rush so I’m a bit behind. This ring sort of expresses my feelings about that.

At least this will give me something to blog about- my blog has been sadly neglected for a very long time.

A new addition to the twig series, this ring set is made of sterling silver, 18k gold and white sapphire. It’s my new favorite ring!

I just listed this ring with March’s birthstone, aquamarine, one of my favorite stones. It’s a small stone (4 mm) on a relatively substantial hammered band, polished to a high shine.

My favorite new ring! I’ve been making these little rings since 2007 but mostly in silver. This year I thought I’d make a limited number in gold, in time for Valentine’s Day. The 2 mm band has a simple organic hammered pattern around three sides, and the stone is a 5 mm pink tourmaline in the highest grade. The stones I have are all slightly different colors, but all are shades of vibrant deep pink.

I’ve added two new items to a new weddings section, a Moissanite and sterling silver engagement ring and the birch bark ring as a set. I’m very grateful to the customer who first ordered a Moissanite set in the pine branch- because it’s something that I guess you need to see to experience- it’s very brilliant, which is a great contrast with the organic setting. So I ordered several of them and I hope to offer the 4.5 mm moissanite stone with other twig textures soon. Also coming soon is a larger and thicker version of the birch bark ring. I plan to offer it in two different widths to best accomodate larger and smaller sizes. I’m working on another new item, a pine cone, something I’ve been trying to accomplish for a long time. Hopefully it will be in my shop by the end of the January.

Here’s the honeycomb ring in its final version. I thought about making it a wide band, alternating rows of 2 and 3, but this way it’s much more comfortable for every day. I will probably make some pendants too.
