I haven't had much time to post or create any new work after blog features in February (design*sponge, modish) sent some heavy traffic to my etsy shop, but this weekend I had some time to create two new pieces. One is a small (4 mm) pink pearl bezel set ring in sterling silver, and the other is a fine silver birch bark ring made from precious metal clay. I made a little mold of a strip of birch bark, rolled the clay to an even thickness, and let it pick up the surface texture of the birch bark. It's oxidized lightly to help reveal the texture of the bark and left in an organic, overlapping shape.
